Regionally Bulletproof And Exquisite Shrubs For The Memphis Ecosystem
This Slideshow was prepared for the Central Gardens Landscape Workshop.
The intention was to expand the concept of Shrubs for the Memphis Ecosystem:
A Rain Forest with Drought in Summer, using plants I have gleaned from 30 years of building gardens in our region.
Primarily to expand the definition of the shrub layer using Vines, Understory Trees, Architectural Plants and Container Plantings, Understanding the Architecture of Each plant, layering and sculpting them towards their Natural Shapes and therefore creating a relatively low maintenance environment to Live in.
