This wonderful evergreen with its single, brilliant, fiery red blooms centered with bright yellow stamens makes it an exceptional plant for winter interest. Blooms stand out in high contrast against dark green glossy foliage. More upright habit than some of the other C. sasanqua. Late season. Prefers neutral to acidic well drained soils. Sun or shade.
