On the last trip down the Wolf River from La Grange to Moscow TN we where stunned by the native Itea all along the water way. Imagine that beauty and one wonders what fall will look like with these plants on the waters edge.
We have always had some of these in our nursery and of course 'Henry's Garnet' with the incredible long flower spikes. But all of this is nothing when you see the new introduction by Richard Feist from Hummingbird Nursery in Kentucky. This dwarf plant exaggerates the length of the pure white flower spikes and the fall color is over the top beautiful. The old burning bush has competition.
