Nippon Lily (Rohdea japonica) An evergreen perennial growing to 15". It is hardy to zone 6. It is in leaf all year, in flower from January to April.
The fruit is a very attractive cluster of bright red berries in winter. The plant grows in light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils. It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland). It requires moist soil.
