Gardens Oy Vey is ready for the Memphis Farmers Market this Saturday! It looks like the perfect Spring Day! You don't want to miss it!  Those Tipton County Master Gardeners 'ROCK'. Had us unloaded in minutes! So we are set up, and ready to go, come see us from 9-4 today. We will curse the weather away, anti rain dance anybody? Bring rain gear!  Liam Boyd never got sick, yeah!!! So an extensive prepping for the Lawn & Garden Expo of the Tipton County Master Gardeners took place today. No supervision needed, Liam is his own master. Thanks again from Diane & Wolfgang, we really needed the help this week. Tomorrow night Liam an Wolfgang are setting up at Brighton High School.  All that made it, thank you thank you from Diane, Wolfgang and Liam. You may have seen Wolfgang hunched down in his chair, that was a virus attack that started last Wednesday for Diane, Thursday for Wolfgang. It seems it is very stubborn, can't shake it. So Liam covered for Wolfgang for two days like a champ.  The more interesting part of this above 'Virus', which had Diane and Wolfgang already in delirious despair, Diane's second kidney surgery was scheduled for tomorrow but since she is still running a fever was postponed to mid April. Than she get's a jury summons for the month of April, what else? A lot of tears about that. But today the world looks a little less gloomy, her doctors faxed some info and she got an email that she is excused from jury duty. THANK YOU MR VIRUS, AS PAINFUL AS YOU HAVE BEEN! Wolfgang is almost back to normal and tomorrow our events calendar will be back up to date, sorry for the delay!
As every year Gardens Oy Vey will be there. We made every possible effort to provide Memphis with some good looking plants and as always our beautiful miniature gardens. The two night freeze could not get us stomped!  So come to the Big Red Barn at the Agricenter Join the Memphis Area Master Gardeners as they kick off the mid-south spring garden season. They offer two days full of garden related activities for adults and children. Come and listen to their speakers, who are full of garden knowledge. See hands-on demonstrations and shop with other local vendors. Wolfgang Marquardt and Liam Boyd will be representing Gardens Oy Vey. See you'all there.  Just in time for the big 'Spring Fling' at the Red Barn of the Memphis Agricenter, Mr. Frost had to strike one more time as a punishment. After many days of balmy spring weather and everything greening out, now this. But as always we gardeners are a tough bunch and it will not get us down.  So here we go, all 'Precious' into safety.  But never mind that, just a small hiccup spring is slinging on us. We will not be discouraged and will participate in the 'Spring Forward' event today from 12-7 PM at the Ghost River Brewing Co. 827 South Main Street, Memphis, Tennessee 38106 Gardens Oy Vey will be rocking the house from 2-6. We will bring mostly winter hardy attractive miniature gardens today, but try to sneak in a few hose plants as well. Come see us!
