She has provided Direction in Selection of Native Plants which has resulted in the Assignment of Audubon Sanctuary Status. This Means that the Golf Course will include 80% Native Plants and 20% Non Native or Exotic Ornamentals.
It is the Goal of Mirimichi Golf Course to Move Towards Sustainability and Habitat For Native Plants and Animals. Diane Has Designed and Installed the 18 Hole Tee Markers and Over 35 Container Gardens.
She and Horticulturalist Russell Dimotsis continue to Design and Install Niches for Native Plants Throughout the Golf Course. This will Continue Annually. We Are All so Grateful and Excited to be a Part of this Project
