Native Hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens)
Native to the Eastern Forests (E. of Mississippi River). Like a delicate lacecap hydrangea.
Pure White. Subtle. Nice massed in wooded lots. Can take morning sun. Amend your planting hole with pine bark mulch and mix with native clay. Add small amount of time release or organic fertilizer.
Once established very durable. 4-5'. Ours are selected from a large flowering mother plant. A "Steel Magnolia".
Zone 3-9.
