I wanted to let you know that those two curly willow trees you sent off to Kansas a couple months ago are doing great. They are beautiful! I have never ordered trees online before and was so surprised to see this super tall box (as was the mailman!). You do a wonderful job of wrapping and packing them and most of all...I APPRECIATED the planting instructions!!!!! I have orderd perennials online and bought many at local stores but no one ever tells you how to plant. I followed the instructions and my trees are so happy. I think maybe I killed the previous ones. I mixed in peat moss with the dirt and not well when they were planted. We have a lot of clay in the dirt here. I am sorry that I have not emailed or left feedback sooner. We had a wild week and weekend and I have not gotten to the computer until tonight. The plants arrived last Wed. They were in great shape. I planted them all in pots that very night, and by the way, one arrived complete with a Tennessee earthworm; I was deligted! I separated the Strawberry Begonia and planted it in several pots. That was a HUGE bunch. Thanks so much for being so generous. You were most generous in sending nice big, lush plants. I have on occasion been disappointed when I have purchased plants on eBay. One time I paid $12.00 + shipping for one tiny sprig of epimedium. It was healthy but SO tiny. When your box arrived, I felt like I had hit the jackpot. I ripped right into it and was amazed with its contents! Thanks too for the advice and instructions. Once the Persicaria gets acclimated, I will try rooting some cuttings. I have added your auction site to my list of favorites, will recommend your site to my other gardening friends, and I can assure you that you have not heard the last from me :o) ! My first order with gardensoyvey, placed a week ago and received this week, has been, without question, the best interaction I can ever remember. The plants arrived healthy and beautifully packed, and are larger in size than I expected; they sent extras (I ordered 12 Leptodermis and there must be at least 18--several growing 2 per pot); they sent another extra ("one of our favorite hydrangeas"); and they responded to a special need I expressed in shipping & followed up to confirm. All that, and the prices were the best I found after many internet searches. I'll quit searching--I can't imagine buying mailorder anywhere else after this experience.

I hope everything will be OK, I got them in the ground the same day they arrived, but we got a lot of wind over the weekend followed by freezing temps for the last 2 nights. They haven't had much of a chance to settle into their new home.

I am writing this to let you know that I finally received the plants today. They came with a full of surprise-- first of all, I have purchased live plants on line many times, and this was the first time that I received plants that were not in pots. Secondly, the plants were all in great condition and beautiful! Finally, thank you for the gift plants that you gave me for the delayed shipping. Although, I knew from your email that there would be extra plants in the package, I was not expected to see so many, and you included one of my favorites! The one that is resemble to "Selaginella kraussiana 'Aurea' (Gold Tipped Club Moss)". I had this particular plant a few times and have never been successful keeping it alive for longer than three months. So, when I unpacked to find this similar plant, I was delighted. It was a little challenge for me to place it into a pot as the stems and roots were all tangled up and I could not really figure out what side was the top or bottom after soki!

Sorry my lenghthy email. I have a question for you. I found a couple of tiny snails and a pill bug-like insect in the moss. Is it okay to leave them? Would they possibly be harmful to the moss?

Title: A gushing love letter
You were part of a Great Plant Vendor Experiment. I ordered about $8000 of plants from Dave's-Garden-Web-well-rated vendors for comparison and planted each type plant in the same bed. In the shrubs/hellebores/tiarella/ferns category, you were definitely Best in Show. Biggest, best packaging, healthiest looking plants to arrive, best survival rate, most thriving, AND best, most amusing (the ONLY amusing) customer service (I loved your emails and my presents --"Beni" and Sage soap-- especially). Your plants have come up gangbusters this spring. AND after that nasty late freeze we had. I gave all the plants good winter protection, but you'd be surprised at some of the other vendor's failure rates--some of 50%--not surprising after some of the tiny, weak, or pot bound plants I received last fall. Yikes. And yet they kvetch about replacing plants... So be very pleased with yourselves. My tiarella actually confused my husband with how much they grew and flowered this spring ("Wait--were those there last week?") and, thank you very much, my white and blue hellebores bloomed this last winter. The serratas are budding and gorgeous. All of your hydrangeas have exploded into fat cats. I have total confidence in your growership (is that a word?), I love graphic design/color of your website, I love your soap, and I look forward to getting muchacho plantus materialis from you always and forever, or at least until you sell out to some international conglomerate.
